Fun for the whole family when visiting Cook Islands.

Family Accommodation
Cook Islands Map
A large number of accommodation options in Cook Islands include self-catering - ideal when travelling as a family group. Small stores are situated along the main coastal road in Rarotonga, and there are larger supermarkets in the capital of Avarua. Regular bus services travel to and from Avarua each day. There are usually a number of restaurants and cafes also within walking reach if you prefer.

Most of the larger Resorts offer babysitting, children's menus and sometimes even a Kid's Club! Often, children under 12 or 13 are accommodated free of charge if sharing the same room as their parents. Email them for more information about the facilities for children.

The Edgewater Resort on the sunset coast offers a variety of activities, water sports, games room, babysitting, children's menu, kid's under 6 dine free, kids under 12 pay 50% for meals, 2 kids under 13 stay free (when sharing with 2 adults).

Wherever you stay, you are bound to be within easy reach of a beautiful sand beach, with safe swimming in the lagoons, and snorkelling will keep children fascinated for hours!
